Jorn Leeuwerink
I was born in The Netherlands in 1990 and I first started making animations in 2003.
In 2013 I began studying animation at HKU University of the Arts Utrecht.

At HKU I made 6 films, including my graduation film Flower Found! All these films have been screened at several festivals arround the world. Flower Found! was selected at Annecy, Zagreb, Stuttgart, Ottawa and Hiroshima, and has won awards at KLIK, Anima Brussels, Anibar, TIAF and others. Flower Found! is also screening at theaters across North America as part of the 20th Animation Show of Shows.

In 2018 I founded the FluXus Animation Film Festival in collaboration with illustrator Myra Emmen Riedel and FluXus art center. The first edition took place in 2019 in the city of Zaandam, the Netherlands, and the event will return in 2020.

Currently I'm working together with Studio Pupil on a new short film called Varken.
